Shopping trip October 6, 2011

I went shopping with Lisa again and for $11.95 (inluding tax) we purchased:

18 bottles of Suave shampoo and conditioner (inluding Kid's, Men's and Professionals lines)
6 tubes of Colgate toothpaste
5 cans of Hunt's pasta sauce
2 bags Ricola Dual Action sore throat lozenges/cough drops
2 bags of Ricola cough drops
4 bags of Ricola Mixed Berry vitamin C supplement lozenges

Works out to be an average of $.32 per item (including MI sales tax!)

This is how we did it:



Transaction #1
(2) Ricola Mixed Berry Vitamin C supplement lozenges $2.29 each
Use in-ad coupon that brings price to $1.29 each (deducts $2)
AND use $.50/1 Walgreens October Coupon booklet coupon for each (deducts $1)
AND use $.60/1 Mixed Berry printable
Subtotal $.38 for both + tax = $.53


Transaction #2
(2) Ricola Mixed Berry Vitamin C supplement lozenges $2.29 each
Use in-ad coupon that brings price to $1.29 each (deducts $2)
AND use $.50/1 Walgreens October Coupon booklet coupon for each (deducts $1 - limit 2 bags per trans)
AND use (2)  $.60/1 Mixed Berry printable
Subtotal $.38 for both + tax = $.53

Transaction #3 (This one rang up differently than anticipated because of the order the cashier rang up the coupons. It should have rung up like transaction #4 but I'll take a better deal when it presents itself!)
